Shop Local Saturday

Greetings Fiber Enthusiasts,

By Hand Yarn will be kicking off the Thanksgiving week with an overstock sale.  That’s right, due to a shipping error we are overstocked on Cascade yarns.  ALL Cascade yarn will be 20% off from Nov. 19 – 23.  Come take advantage of this extra discount  by shopping early.

This Saturday, November 19th is Shop Local Saturday!  Come downtown and show your support of our local retail community.

On a personnel note:  Eric is leaving his weekend shifts at the store.  After four years, he has decided he would like his weekends back.  We will miss Eric, but welcome Terry Brejla!  Terry is an accomplished knitter and brings a wonderful energy to the store.

With Gratitude,
Frankie, Candace, Pat, Anneliese, Pattie and Terry

Sample Sale

ATCAA provides goods and services to our local community. All proceeds go directly to the agency.

The Seasons are changing….

I know its only August, but there are distinct signs of seasons changing.  Schools are back in session (for many), and the days are shortening.  Its time to start thinking about winter knitting and, yes, holiday gifts.  The above picture is of the very handsome Sam West wearing a hat Frankie knit out of Kauni.

We also have a sweater KAL starting this week.  It is the Starfish Cardigan and you can join along on our Ravelry site, or come in on Saturday, August 14th for the swatching class for it.
