Today’s selected picture from our Customer Trunk Show is of the Waterfall Shawl.  This was done with Blue Heron Texture Cotton and Gems sport weight held together. 

Here in the store we have coined the term “public” knitting to refer to those projects that one can knit on whenever, and carry on a conversation, perhaps sip on a glass of wine or whatever.  This particular project is knit all in garter stitch until the cast off which is done dropping the stitches and letting them run to create a waterfall.   This is public knitting at its best…

    okay, i did it. i started another waterfall tonight. this time i made sure i had enough yarn. i look forward to one day actually wearing it! thanks, sandy, for the inspiration.

    At this time, how many waterfalls have been started because of Sandy’s example? I know I have one in my stash!
