It is Thursday afternoon and we have another new box of yarn in the store – Noro’s Silk Garden Sock. It comes in 8 delicious colors, 330 yards to a skein. I am having a hard time choosing just one.
We also have 5 new colorways of Rayon Metallic – great for summer shawls or tops. The colors remind me of sherbet.

Wow! I just got back into town from a brief trip over the mountains. It sounds like we got so many new things. I feel shelf rearranging coming on!

i couldn’t decide which project to start first so i have 2 on the needles with the silk garden sock -a scarf in the lizard ridge pattern and a pair of simple socks with a 2×2 rib in the cuff and a 1×4 rib for the leg. i haven’t yet made up my mind about this yarn except to say that the colors are gorgeous – typical noro. i’ll weigh in with an opinion on the yarn itself when i’ve knit more.
